<title>Charles Darwin and the Giant Tortoise</title>
					  <link>http://www.articleworld.net/articles/7027/1/Charles-Darwin-and-the-Giant-Tortoise</link>
<description>Charles Darwin is most famously known for his theory of evolution. He is less known for his 5 year voyage (1831-1836) around the world as an anthropologist.

Below, is an excerpt from his diary of this journey, describing the unusual behaviour of the giant tortoise on the Galapagos islands. It also describes Darwin&#39;s early 19th century methods of study, which were perhaps &#34;a little&#34; different than today&#39;s.

<title>New Gene Tool May Unlock Root Causes of Disease</title>
					  <link>http://www.articleworld.net/articles/2783/1/New-Gene-Tool-May-Unlock-Root-Causes-of-Disease</link>
<description>Genetic researchers have made substantial advances in understanding the root causes of common diseases and the history of human evolution. An international consortium of more than 200 scientists has concluded that genetic variants located physically close to each other are inherited collectively as groups called haplotypes. The comprehensive catalog of all of these blocks is known as the &#34;HapMap.&#34;</description>
